Check your internet connection
After start of MacLibre I'm getting message "Can't continue. Check your internet connection. Do you want to reconnect?" However my Internet connection is fine. Error persists.

Found a solution myself 
)
1. open the package
2. Go to Contents/Resources/xml/
3. vi config.xml
4. change the line saying
<Url>https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/winlibre/MacLibre2/xml/en.xml</Url>
to:
<Url>https://winlibre.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/winlibre/MacLibre2/xml/en.xml</Url>

Your solution sorta worked. Now it just doesn't seem to download anything correctly. I can post a screenshot of the "download failed" error if it would be helpful to anyone.
